Location: end of Sunny Bay Road. The lake is approximately 29 miles in length and 5 miles wide at its widest point, the home is situated in the southern border of the Adirondack Mountain Range. The lake offers excellent fishing, amazing sunset views and comfortable water temperatures for swimming June through September. The home has 5 bedrooms with 2 King Master Suites and private baths with one encompassing the private 3rd floor area. There is an outdoor private balcony off the second floor off the master bedroom. The master suite bedrooms are furnished with furniture from the Hemingway collection by Thomasville. The second floor also has one of the two King Master Suites and a 2nd bedroom with a queen size bed. New in 2022 - five steps down from the master bedroom and your over the garage that has another queen bed and a bunk bed. (bunk has queen & full bed) Entry above the garage can also be made from the downstairs hallway. The second of two living rooms in the home is on the 2nd floor. With 60 feet of private beach and 100 feet of boat docking space, (bring your boat or you can rent one) your choices of activities are endless. The dock has a waterslide at the end of it and there is a second waterslide on a raft that you would have to swim to. If you like water sports, you can swim, boat, fish, sail or water-ski. Bring the family to the lake and plan on having a vacation you'll always remember. The views from the house facing the lake are fantastic. The beach is just 200 feet from the home (no roads to cross). The only thing you need to bring are the groceries and your clothes - all the cooking utensils, the outdoor grill, lawn furniture are provided. Inside the tastefully decorated 15 YEAR old home (4000 sq. ft.) you'll find everything you need plus. A Sub Zero refrigerator, microwaves, a Wolff six burner gas stove, dishwasher, and Whirlpool stackable washer and dryer are there for your usage. Things we loved the most: 1. Kayaking & paddle boarding. 2. Plenty of room in the house. 3. The two large tables outside for eating. 4. Lots of seating on the deck. 5. The swing seton the deck. 6. Large gourmet kitchen with lots of extra utensils & gadgets. 7. Fire Pit. 8. Lounge chairs. 9. The view from the 2nd floor deck. WE HAD A GREAT TIME We would like to come back in the future.

NICE STAY AT THE LAKE WITH FAMILY: We had a really nice week. The house was comfortable for 7 adults and a baby. It was extremely well-supplied and clean. The owner was responsive throughout the booking and stopped by to introduce himself at the beginning of the week. Just as an FYI for those looking to book, first-floor master/shower was great for my older parents but not sure if they would have been able to manage the stairs/upstairs showers. We definitely enjoyed the big deck, the hammock, and fishing in the lake the most.

Booked a 2nd year in a row. Upon our arrival we were met by Ray. he provided us a detailed overview of the house, property and area. The house was spotless and made us all feel comfortable staying there. The spaciousness was complimented with a great layout from the kitchen through the dining area through the main floor living room that led to the upstairs bedrooms and second floor living/relaxation room. The house is situated on the large lot so that a majority of the windows provided us beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Bedrooms were comfortably large as were the bathrooms. Laundry facilities were modern and even large enough to provide room for miscellaneous storage. All amenities we would have ever needed were provided including kitchen utensils, personal hygiene, and cleaning supplies. Large wraparound deck provided a great outdoor lake view eating space for the entire family. Not to mention the shade covered swing which was perfect for an end of day place to unwind with a glass of wine and watch the sun set. The expansive lawn leading from the deck to the lake was perfect for lawn games, baseball and a friendly family game of football or soccer .Location: Quiet and peaceful with spectacular views. The lake location of the property is special! Affronted by islands yet still providing views of the open lake and mountains. For us, it was a very easy drive and we enjoyed visiting several of the quaint towns and villages. Saratoga Springs with its many shops and restaurants is a straight shot from the house. Some of us visited SS while others hiked one of the mountain trails to an overlook and climbed a fire watch tower experiencing indescribable views. Also the close by public boat launch allowed us to bring a small motorized boat. The boat made it possible for us to explore the entire lake. Being able to tie up at the dock kept us from having to launch multiple times.
Great Sacandaga Lake says it all. It is stunningly beautiful. The many provided kayaks and canoes allowed us to visit the coves and explore the islands. Bald Eagle nests and sightings was an unexpected experience. Swimming, sliding and jumping off the dock and anchored platform was one of the grandchildren favorites .There is so much that I could further say, but in summary; it was everything we imagined and so much . providing this wonderful gem for our family getaway. Laura Swensen 08/10/2019 08/17/2019FUN FAMILY VACATION We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It was very clean and the property owner was very responsive to our questions. The only issue we had was with the outside grill and he responded immediately with a replacement so we could finish cooking dinner. The house was as advertised - luxury! We had fun in the rowboat and the kids went kayaking and canoeing. We rock painted at the shore one day as it was too windy to go swimming or boating. We cooked almost every night in the well stocked kitchen, but did venture out twice to local lakeside restaurants for clams and shrimp. I would definitely book this again!

Mara Schmittinger 05/24/2018 05/28/2018 GREAT LOCATION FOR FISHING AND FOR EXPLORING THE SACANDAGA REGION OF NY !!!The house was large enough to hold our group. Downstairs bathroom was easily accessible for our elderly friends. Tons of chairs on the big deck as well as large tables make it easy for everyone to sit down together. Large kitchen table was perfect for card games with everyone. The fishing was great and the public boat launch is close by. The dock has a bench and a slide and both got lots of use. Saratoga Springs is a short drive and Lake George wasn't too much further so
