“This home was the perfect fall getaway with our favorite features being the gourmet kitchen, the back porch with some mountain views through the trees that we would enjoy morning and evening tea on and the cozy fireplace and woodturning stove when it got extra chilly. The master suite was wonderful and it worked out great that trip with the rooms upstairs for the kids and family members that joined. There were futons if needed to put on the floor for extra guests but would second that a queen in one room would make us more likely to rent again when looking with another couple since we wouldn't want to give up that master suite! Absolutely loved and would jump to go back.”

“Absolutely wonderful rental and would stay here again in a heartbeat. This is a huge property with a great open concept feel on the main floor and a large yard with plenty of privacy. The main porch overlooks trees and hills and is great to enjoy with a cup of coffee in the morning. Located just outside the cute town of Keene Valley, it's very accessible to the high peaks as well as Lake Placid (~20 min). Tom was extremely quick to respond to any and all questions either via phone or email. If there's one downside it's that the upstairs bedrooms have either 1 single bed, or 1 single bed next to 1 single bunk bed. This made dividing the rooms up for couples a little tricky. Would be great to add a full or queen to solve that! ”
