Lakefront cabin on beautiful Big Moose Lake with excellent views, a flat, grassy front yard, and a great dock for swimming, sunbathing, or fishing. The cabin is comfortably furnished with many of the conveniences of home-- including a washer/ dryer. Two of the bedrooms have two twin beds each, and the larger room has a queen sized bed. Situated off the front deck and overlooking the lake is a picnic table for the outdoor dinners, and a large fire-pit for enjoying s'mores. For the nights when bar …becuing seems like too much work, it's a two minute walk to a local restaurant, Duffy's at the Glenmore. In addition the Little Fox and Big Moose Station are less than a 5 minute drive from our camp.

There are 1/2 dozen hiking trails within minutes of the camp

The hamlets of Old Forge and Inlet are between 6 - 12 miles from this camp.

Summer rate is $3,745 a week - last week of June through first week of September. Shorter stays are available in the off season and rates depend on actual dates. Please email specific requests and we will get back to you with an answer as soon as possible.

Meet the Owner(s)

About Us: John is the third generation of his family to own the camp and loves spending his time on Big Moose Lake. He recently purchased the cabin from his grandparents, and is excited to share his slice of paradise. Over the years, the cabin has been lovingly used by the family which means it's ready for barbecues, campfires with s'mores, and cannonballs from the dock. When John isn't at Big Moose, you can find him traveling the world in search of new adventures.

Why we think you will enjoy staying in Big Moose Lake: Big Moose Lake is located 20 minutes north of Old Forge, NY which has many activities including a water park, mini golf, shopping, and restaurants. For those who prefer being in the mountains, there are multiple trails in the area, two of which can be accessed within a 10-15 minute walk from the cabin.

Why our property is special: Situated in west end of the lake, the cabin has stunning sunrises from the front deck or the dock. It has a flat, grassy front yard which is perfect for children to run around or any casual lawn games you may want to partake in.
