“If you are looking for the perfect location and accommodations on 4th Lake, Camp Cedar Spring is a spectacular choice. The home is impeccably furnished, stocked, and decorated in classy Adirondack style. The layout is perfect and sizeable indoors and out. Everything in the description was accurate. We docked 2 large pontoon boats with plenty of room, and boat trailer parking was right at the property. The loons were right along the shore, and we heard them day and night! The sunsets were amazing, especially from the dock. Also the property is NOT on rt 28 which can be quite loud with traffic. The owner was very responsive and easy to talk with. This is a perfectly curated rental. I would highly recommend it!”

“Location , location, location !! This property gave us the most cherished vacation of a lifetime !! The beautiful lakeside property, wonderfully furnished home and all amenities,provided for a perfect setting for a family week together !! Space was greatly appreciated, both inside and outside ! The inside is well planned, and there is much open space, that allows for good humour from all !! Nice pool table room and outside deck where many good times were had! The lawn is great for activities and the large dock very adaptable for all ages!
Everything was just as promised and we were not lacking for any comforts ! We appreciated the small details in this newly refurbished property - family games , well equipped kitchen, super comfortable beds/mattresses, large eating area, great parking facilities, kayaks, canoe and the water trampoline was a huge hit with the kids ! The morning and evening views are especially great in this location - the house is in a perfect spot for great views and easy access to Old Forge and Inlet !! Few suggestions from the point of view for families- a clothesline would be helpful to dry towels etc, more bins to sort recyclables, few more cooking dishes, hangers in the closets ( the closets are great !!) - As foreigners, bringing linens was difficult, so an option to provide these for renters who travel far would be good- and also an option to pay for cleaning on departure would be helpful for those who have to catch flights etc early on checkout date- we would definitely recommend this property and consider to return to Camp Cedar Spring in the future ! The service was excellent from the owner and communication very efficient and professional - thank you providing such a great setting for our family !! ”

“We had a wonderful family vacation at this gorgeous, recently renovated lake house. We strongly recommend booking it if you get the chance.
My fiancee and I both invited our parents, and I invited my two siblings. In total, there were nine of us, but the house could have easily accommodated more. There are so many great spots to lounge and relax -- our favorites: morning coffee on the dock; afternoon tanning on the back deck; and sitting around the fire pit at night. All of those activities provide you with the picturesque view of the lake.
The house itself also has plenty of games, puzzles, and a billiards table for entertainment in case you have a rainy day. The property itself not only contains direct access to the lake, but it feels very private since tall trees run along both sides from the driveway down to the lake. We enjoyed taking the kayaks and canoe out onto the lake, and with the private dock, you could easily rent a boat for the day.
The property is extremely close to two nearby towns that offer great restaurants and shops. It is just a short 5-7 minute drive to Inlet, a nearby town that has good bakeries, restaurants, ice cream stands, and souvenir shops. One bakery has the best maple donuts we have ever eaten in our lives! The property is also just a short 15 minute drive in the other direction to Old Forge, which also has great restaurants, mini golf, cafes, and plenty to do. There are also a couple of great hikes just on the other side of the lake and a short 10 minute drive from the house.
We loved mixing up our days between the house itself and the nearby towns. You certainly will not run out of things to do! This was very important for us because we have stayed at rental properties in the past that were virtually in the middle of nowhere, and it was a 30 minute drive to even get to a grocery store.
Also, the owners were extremely responsive, provided us with binders of activities/places to eat, and overall, helped to make our stay much more enjoyable. We had an absolute blast, and every member of our family enjoyed the week (a rare feat)!”

“This was our group's 3rd rental in 7 years for a family ADK vacation. This was by far the best accommodations we have had and we immediately re-booked for 2018. Perfect location in Old Forge region, private drive,brand new interior, bedroom setup, gentle sloping yard, beach, dock and LAKE VIEWS! The owners were clearly thoughtful in the renovations to add little touches that are niceties for renters and are great to deal with. This is a real gem! ”
