Algonquin Mountain Chalet is your ideal vacation home. Amenities includ …e a 5-person hot tub, dry sauna, five bedrooms, 3 baths, an outdoor fire pit, 2 outdoor charcoal grills, an indoor gas fireplace, a ping pong table, and a beautiful kitchen. Ausable River runs through the property, and a short hike to fish. It has everything you and your travel companions will need to truly relax.

This is a gorgeous 5 Bedroom, 3 Full Bath Chalet, Sleeps 12, Amazing Views, Pet-Friendly.

This home sleeps 12 guests. There are five bedrooms, 3 King beds plus 3 Queen beds. It comfortably sleeps 12 people in 5 bedrooms. 2 foam mattresses are also available.

The first bedroom is incredibly spacious, bright, and airy. It's designed to make you feel like you are sleeping in the forest, only ensconced in luxury! This room has a King bed and breathtaking views. French doors lead to the outdoor deck with hot tub, which overlooks the stunning mountain range.

The second, third, and fourth bedrooms are stylish and comfortable, with colorful quilts and plenty of pillows.

The spacious fifth bedroom, on the lower level, has its own full bathroom and contains a flat-screen TV, two Queen beds, and an additional private area.

Each bedroom has its own unique style with comfy linens and warm color schemes. Each of the bedrooms has a flat-screen television, comfortable, warm lighting, and ceiling fans for warm nights.

From June 1st to Sep 15th of each year, the bedrooms and living area will be equipped with air conditioning units. Algonquin Mountain Chalet's kitchen and living room combination is the perfect place to entertain and spend time with your friends and family. The living room portion of the combo offers a comfortable sofa, flat-screen television, and a gas fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked with every tool needed to prepare fabulous meals for the entire crew.

The outdoor living space at Algonquin Mountain Chalet has fantastic amenities to help you enjoy your vacation even more. The huge back deck connected to the home's main level offers a 5-person hot tub, an outdoor dining area that seats six, and incredible views. The home yard offers a fire pit with Adirondack chairs and plenty of room for kids and adults to run around and hang out. There is also an outdoor Finlandian dry sauna.

The chalet location is paramount; it's close to skiing, hiking, mountain bike trails, water sports, shopping, dining, and other attractions. Situated on a private wooded lot with access to the AuSable River (there is a path for part of the way, then you will need boots to walk through the marshy area to get to the river. My wife and I have done it.). You will never run out of things to do while on vacation at this home. Whether you're coming for a quick weekend or an extended stay, Algonquin Mountain Chalet is the perfect place to call your home away from home.


This chalet is perfect for adventurers, shoppers, foodies, skiers, hikers, and everyone else. It's located 1 1/4 mi. from Whiteface Mountain, a 15-minute drive from Lake Placid, and other area attractions. There are plenty of hiking trails within a 3-minute drive of the home. These trails vary from relaxed walking/beginner trails to hard climbs/expert trails. Just 2 miles from the chalet is the Whiteface Mountain ski center offering fun for every ski or snowboarder level. In the summer and fall, you can ride the gondola to the top of the mountain for beautiful views of the Adirondacks. The town of Lake Placid, a short 15-minute drive from the home, offers shopping, dining, and other attractions.

Algonquin Mountain Chalet is kept clean, and the owners and rental team take great pride in ensuring that it is perfect for each guest's vacation. Whether you're coming to hang out and relax or use it as a base for your adventurous vacation, Algonquin Mountain Chalet is the perfect place to call your home away from home. With amenities galore and so much to see and do in the area, there won't be a dull moment during your time at the chalet.

All United States & Canadian Holidays are subject to a minimum of 3 TO 6 night stays at the Owner's discretion. Summer months we only rent from Saturday to Saturday. Two (2) night stays are considered, at the discretion of the Owner. There is a cleaning fee, a Damage Protection Policy fee, & a 5% bed tax for Essex County.

“The pictures don't do it justice. The living room has mountain views from the whole side of the house and they get sun all day. It is one of the few places that has A/C. The hot tub and sauna come in handy in the morning and evening when it is cool and after a long day of hiking. We made smores at night under the stars in the fire pit. I love the bedroom that has windows on three sides but all of the bedrooms are tastefully decorated. The bathroom showers are top notch. The pots and pans are good quality so you can make a nice meal. They have granite countertops too. Todd and Kim are the nicest people and took care of anything we needed immediately. We would definitely stay again.”
