“Camp Cohasset is a gorgeous property!!! We enjoyed the location right on the lake with shallow water and a small, sandy beach. The main house and cottages were very clean, well maintained and with updated finishes. There was plenty of room in the main house for our entire party of 9 people. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious. Plenty of outdoor seating on the decks. We also enjoyed the fire pit and two docks! The owner was great to work with and responded quickly to all of our questions. He was easily reached by phone or text whenever we had questions. Old Forge and Inlet were each a short drive away and there is plenty to do in the area. Overall this was a truly wonderful experience and we would highly recommend Camp Cohasset!!! We hope to return again!! ”

“Camp Cohasset is a beautiful property with an Adirondack history. It was the perfect location for an informal family reunion. The cabins gave visiting adults and families their personal space. The sandy beach area is perfect for young children. The property is well equipped for recreation with a canoe, two kayaks, and a stand up paddle board and for anything else you might need, kitchen, laundry, bathrooms, etc. My husband and brother both remarked at the end of the week that our week at Camp Cohasset was the best and most relaxing vacation they have had in a very long time. This property has given us the gift of many happy memories.”

“We were lucky to find this property at the last minute and rented it for a weekend of "leaf peeping". The cottages are nicely updated and offer spectacular views of Fourth Lake. Our kids had a great time fishing off of the dock, using the canoes, and swimming out to the floating dock. The cottages are nicely tucked away in a quiet neighborhood and yet close to all of the action. Inlet, Old Forge and great restaurants are all just a short drive or boat ride away.
The owners were friendly and easy to work with. They quickly responded to any questions we had and were only a phone call away.”

“Our family had the pleasure of staying at Camp Cohasset this summer. We rented the main house and the two cottages as there were 14 of us so that we could all have our "own space" after a day full of activities and have some quiet time. The main house and cottages were very nice - exceeded our expectations! They came equipped with everything you could possibly need. The property is right on the water, so the adults could sit comfortably on the dock and watch the little ones. The beach was just the right size for our grandkids. They had such a great time swimming out to the floating dock, kayaking and canoeing, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. We had just a minor problem with one of the cottage showers but it was quickly addressed and taken care of. It was a great vacation and the entire family had a fantastic time!”

“Our extended family of 11 adults and one beautiful baby boy, 1 year, had the privilege of spending a relaxing week at Camp Cohasset on Fourth Lake in September 2015. We had a great week there and enjoyed all that the spacious and well-appointed "Adirondack style" camp and the area had to offer. We loved the decorating and the finish choices throughout both the Main House and the 2 adorable cabins. It really felt warm and cozy for our family gathering. The compound style of the Camp was also well-suited to our group. The cabins allowed my brother and his wife to find some quiet and privacy away from the huge group and my son and daughter-in-law really appreciated the fact that they had a separate living space that accommodated the important napping and bedtime schedule of their one year old son.
The views were spectacular and the sandy, level lakefront was gorgeous for all
and perfect for our young grandson who enjoyed splashing his feet off the dock
and feeding the family of ducks that came to visit religiously every day. Each
day brought something beautiful to enjoy, from the calling of the loons to the
misty morning sunrises to starry night-time skies by the campfire. I could go on
and on. This is truly a special spot.
Additionally, we had positive and timely communication with the owner which made the stay worry- free.
We highly recommend this rental for anyone who wishes to experience the peace and beauty of an Adirondack vacation.

“We had a such fantastic time at Camp Cohasset! I have nothing but good things to say. The property is really unique because it allowed our large extended family to stay on the same property while having separate living quarters between the main house and two lovely cottages. We loved the private beach, the lawn, and the immediate proximity to the lake (the main house sits right on the water's edge). We also rented a boat from a marina and were able to keep it right at one of the dock slips. Our kids also had a great time with the water trampoline, swim dock, kayaks and canoe that are provided with the rental. Each of the houses has a kitchen and is fully stocked, so we could have meals together or separate. Inlet and Old Forge are really easy to access from the house for meals out, the amusement park, and mini-golf. I definitely look forward to returning to this awesome property.”
