“Lookout Mountain Chalet is one of the most beautiful properties in Wilmington. It has the best view by far of any house we have rented. The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, plus a hot tub, sauna and steam shower. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back.”

“This was my first trip to the area and boy was I lucky to find this place. First, you can tell the owner takes great pride in the home given the way it was built - top notch materials and construction. Also, the decor inside is that of an ultra-modern home with every amenity one could want.
My trip revolved around the Lake Placid Iron Man race and I was most concerned with having somewhere to come back to, relax, and get a good night's sleep after watching the competition. This place delivered. Quiet comfort, like being at home - except at my home I don't have the spectacular views outside every window!
I can't wait to go back and will not even consider staying somewhere else.”

“This is a really beautiful house with amazing views! We truly enjoyed our stay here. One thing to note...if you are staying in the spring/summer, the house doesn't have AC. It gets REALLY HOT in the afternoon as the house faces the afternoon sun. The steam shower is a treat, and the beds are SO comfortable. The best part of our trip was sitting on the deck at night in the cool air and listening to the frogs and wolves from the Wildlife Refuge howel. This house is also a great location, close to Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, etc. Make sure you take a drive along 73N...so beautiful. And take a drive to Keene - wonderful gourmet food shop. Asgaard Farm in Ausable Forks is another venture that we recommend. Lots of animals and amazing goat cheese, caramels, soaps, etc. We definately want to come back (but in the cooler months such as fall). Just a note: there is firewood for the firepit to be purchased at several houses along Springfield Rd. (honor system). Enjoy! We did!”

“The homeowner has installed sunshades on the main windows in the main living area to prevent the heat from warming up the house. They want to make sure that their guests are always comfortable and happy with their stay.”

“This is the perfect vacation house! It is brand new, the finishes are impeccable and it felt like home! We vacationed with another family that has small kids. The purpose of our trip was to visit the North Pole but we also had a great snowy day in Lake Placid. At the house, we enjoyed watching movies, eating and hanging out around the awesome kitchen island, and (of course) roasting marshmallows by the bonfire. All of the rooms are large and it was so great that linens and laundry were included! Oh...did I mention the beautiful views??? Spectacular! We definitely recommend this home to anyone, any age, with or without kids. It was awesome!”
