About Us: Mike and Nancy Tracy have lived in the Town of Newcomb for over 40 years, raised a family and are now retired.
Why we think you will enjoy staying in Newcomb: We believe that the secluded location, relaxed atmosphere, sound of rushing water, will be just the right Adirondack location to visit and unwind. We have many people who return year after year because they love to make Tracy Camp their summer get-away. The Town of Newcomb is "the Heart of the Adirondacks."
Why our property is special: Tracy Camp is located on the west branch of the Hudson River. It is a quiet, secluded retreat in the heart of the Adirondacks. You can enjoy the sound of rushing water while relaxing on the front deck. You can launch your kayak right in front of Camp or enjoy an evening bonfire at the lean to. The Town Beach is 5 minutes away. It is a sandy beach with a playground, picnic tables and life guards on duty. Also hiking, biking into the Great Camp Santanoni.

“ We rented this cabin for a week in July 2012 and enjoyed it so much we returned again this past July for a week. It is a beautiful, quiet spot on the water. The cabin is cozy, clean and well equipped. The owners live nearby, are very welcoming and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. We could put our kayaks in and paddle to Lake Harris or Rich Lake (with a few short portages). Our grand kids loved learning to paddle, playing in the shallow water, swinging in the hammock and building the evening campfires. This is the Adirondacks at its best!”

“Quiet, clean, very nice property owners and right on the water. If you want to fish, this is the place, it's loaded with bass (in July anyway). I fly-fished catching bass (to late in the season for trout) and also found a hole that had the biggest bass I have ever caught! Lots of them! Great fishing. The week I stayed I only slept on the pull-out couch on the screenporch...the sound of the small rapids in front of the camp will put anyone to sleep. Two thumbs up if you are looking for peace and quiet or good fishing and also for kayaking. Mike M. Buffalo, NY”
