“I cannot say enough about what a wonderful house this is to rent. It had everything that we could possibly think of. It was very clean and roomy. The lake is beautiful. There are beautiful views from all three bedrooms. I highly recommend renting this house. Joyce was so friendly and kind in her responses and we received our deposit back so quickly. It was a short ride into Bolton Landing and not far from Lake George Village. ”

“This is a beautiful vacation rental. I stayed there with two of my brothers, and it was very relaxing. The area was quiet and just so peaceful. The house was nicely decorated and fully equipped. We didnt want or need for anything. Definitely a spectacular getaway. ”

“Everything about this home is thoughtful and comfortable.
We chose to spend the week in, on, and by the lake, swimming, kayaking, and roasting marshmallows under the Milky Way .
We were close enough to enjoy Lake George Village any evening we wanted to.
It was the perfect vacation, and we can't thank the owners enough for renting us their lovely, immaculate home.
We only hope that we will have the opportunity to rent this lovely home again in the near future.

“My family and I absolutely loved staying here! We had 5 adults and a two year old here and had plenty of room. Each floor has its own bedroom and bathroom which was perfect and gave us all privacy. This place felt so cozy and homey, very well decorated and very clean! The owner is also very sweet and accommodating. We truly were blessed staying here and plan on coming back for sure. Highly recommend this beautiful cottage!”

“This property was one of the most beautiful places we've stayed ever! My husband and I took our family for the week and we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit, fishing , boating, swimming, BBQing on the porch and stores and sights were all close to us! Our grandkids didn't want to leave! Everyone had a great time and we were very comfortable and happy here. It was very clean and very nice everywhere! We took so many pictures of the beautiful scenery all around. Joyce is also a very nice lady to talk to and when we had a question someone was right there to help us out! Highly recommend this property! Thanks again so much for sharing it with our family! ”

“What a wonderful house for a vacation! My family (including three young boys all under the age of 5) stayed here for a week in August. This house was perfect for us, especially the gentle access into the lake. We enjoyed its easy access to the water for boating/fishing/summing and felt like we never had to leave the property for our recreation. Its location is ideal, you can easily drive to all of the local atttractions and downtown Bolton quickly. The central AC and the backup generator were a plus; the weather was humid and we lost power for a couple of hours during an afternoon thunderstorm but we were all very comfortable. The house also has a very well equipped kitchen which made planning family meals easy. We totally fell in love with a lake vacation and can't wait to plan our return.”

“We have had the pleasure of staying at this house on 3 separate occasions over the years. The house is perfectly situated on the Lake, with fantastic views from the deck, as well as each floor of the house. The house is pristine, with central air - which is a nice benefit. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and charmingly decorated. Loved spending time on the dock or the raft located on the Lake. The owner provides a canoe and rowboat for use by renters - which gives you a chance to explore the Lake and enjoy its beauty. I would highly recommend this house to others. Great location, peaceful and quiet. We have made many wonderful summer memories in this ideal location.”

“The house is located at the beautiful Trout Lake close to Bolton Landing with a nice porch facing the lake. A perfect scene to enjoy sunset and the Adirondacks. The house is very well kept and clean and comes with all amenities for a perfect stay. We enjoyed the labor day weekend with friends and family, canoeing on Trout Lake, hiking around Lake George and barbecuing on the large porch. Very recommendable.”

“This was our second year renting this property. We absolutely love it. It creates the perfect place for family time. We are making some great memories here. The house is extremely comfortable and has central AC--a bonus for us. Literally feet from the lake, our kids loved playing in the shallow water. The house and property are private but it's nice to hear the goings-on around the lake as well. Bolton is a few miles away and the town beach is very nice when we wanted to swim in Lake George. But mostly we loved staying at the house, barbecuing, and getting a good fire going in the evening. The owner is delightful to deal with. We really feel the love she has for her home in every little detail. We will definitely be going back in 2016.”

“We stayed at this property last weekend to explore the Lake George Region, enjoy the fall foliage and visit my son at Skidmore College (the property is about 30 north of Saratoga Springs). The house and furnishings were "like new" , the the lakefront location was beautiful. Very close to restaurants and shops in Bolton Landing and Lake George Village. Joyce, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with. We'd like to revisit in the summer to really take advantage of the lake - boating, swimming, fishing, etc. The house and the lake are even nicer than the pictures suggest.

“Ditto - to the previous reviews about the perfect location, peaceful, yet joyous stay and proximity to local attractions.
No, a very personal, appreciation-filled thank you to the owners.
Back in the summer of 1954 my family began spending summers at Trout Lake. The cabin that was purchased back then - on this exact spot - was much more rustic than the luxurious "cabin" that stands now.
Even after I married and moved to Arizona, my daughter was fortunate to spend summers at the old cabin with her grandparents, surrounded by family in neighboring cottages.
So, imagine the joy we shared when we brought 3 generations back and introduced my grandchildren to the Trout Lake experience! We will be back next summer for another beautiful memory-making time!”

“Had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend! This is house is located on quiet Trout Lake but very close to Bolton Landing, where there are numerous shops, restaurants and a grocery store. The house itself is beautiful, and layout is ideal as it is 3 floors, with a bedroom and bath on each floor. We were 3 couples, so it was ideal. The house is also decorated in Adirondack decor, just lovely. The house is very well kept and clean. Trout Lake is quiet and very typical Adirondacks. In the morning and in the evening you can hear loons. The lake is small, but ideal for kayaks or canoe. If you are looking for a quiet Adirondack retreat, but need conveniences close by, this is your place! I would highly recommend”

“This vacation rental has everything that you need to make it one of the most relaxing vacations you will ever have.This beautiful home was very clean,well maintained and thoughtfully decorated. The floor plan is a perfect layout for a family. We had four adults and one child. Each bedroom is on a different floor offering excellent privacy and relaxation. The lakefront access and the amazing view make it hard to leave. But if you do,Bolton Landing is about six miles away and Lake George is about ten. Both locations have excellent restaurants and nice beaches.
We appreciated the prompt courteous communications with the homeowners. Overall, a highly recommended rental.”
