We have 2 two bedroom and 3 three bedroom cottages on Garnet Lake. They are heated and completely furnished including sheets and towels.

Located on GARNET LAKE, a 2.5 mile long pristine Adirondack lake that you can fish for Large-mouth Bass, Perch, Pickerel and Sunfish. A rowboat, paddle boards and kayaks are provided. We have a sandy beach and places to hike. If you would like to take a day trip Lake George is 30 miles away and that has amusement …parks and shopping. To the north is the Blue Mountain Lake Museum of Adirondack history that is very fascinating.

Eighty percent of the property on the lake is own by New York State which makes it a great place to come for peace and quite. 90% of our customers are repeats.

Rates

In season rates: $1475.00 per week for first 2 people. $120.00 for each additional adult and 63.00 each additional child, 7 persons per 3 bedroom cottage or 5 or 6 persons per 2 bedroom cottage.
Off season: $1165.00 per week for two people, $100.00 each additional adult, $45.00 each child. We do rent by the day, minimum of 3 days, during the off season. Please call for rates.


Summer season, June 30 to Sept. 3 $1475.00 for first two people
Each additional adult $120.00, children $63.00 weekly.

Off season, June 1 to June 30 & Sept 3 to Sept. 30 weekly $1165.00 for the first two people
Each additional adult $100.00, children. $46.00

Meet the Owner(s)

About Us: I have been here since 1963. My wife, Joyce, is a native of the area. We married in 1969 and have 2 grown boys and 3 grandchildren.. We have enjoyed the interaction with the families we have met during the last 50 years plus. We have third generation families coming now and that makes what we do a pleasure even though we are senior citizens. We do our own cleaning and maintenance. Pete Parker

Why we think you will enjoy staying in Garnet Lake: Because the lake has 80% of the shoreline owned by NY State and is forever wild and no other commercial businesses are on the lake it makes it a very low key and a quite place to vacation. The private cottages on the lake usually are only used on weekends. It's only 13 miles to Gore Mtn for summer gondola rides. About 3 miles to the Crane Mtn trail head which is a nice day climb. The fishing is great with large mouth bass the main game fish.

Why our property is special: Our cottages are usually rented 90 % of the time by repeat customers, some of them for over 25 years. There are a few weeks every now and then that become available. We have been owners and operators for over 60 years. Give us a try.
