“We rented this property for a family reunion. It's a really nice house, with several special features, including a deck overlooking Lake George where we ate dinner every night (the overhead covering protects well from rain), and a sunroom where the three toddlers could play early in the morning without disturbing the late sleepers. I have never experienced such a well-equipped house. Everything you might want in a kitchen, plus enough flatware, plates, glasses, and mugs to accommodate 7 adults, 3 little kids, and a baby. The lawn was wonderful for the kids to run around and play ball. Having the use of kayaks and canoes was a real bonus. The water at this end of the lake is quite shallow, so it was much warmer than you might expect from Lake George. The beds were very comfortable, and the sheets were luxury hotel quality. Sadly, we never got to utilize the telescope that was offered to us, due to clouds at night. We did play Trivial Pursuits and the Deluxe Scrabble set that were provided in the game closet. We were extremely pleased with the property and the owner couldn't be nicer or more accommodating.”

“We stayed here with our children and grandchildren. A wonderful time was truly had by all! The available boats for our use certainly provided hours of fun. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings along with Smores at the outdoor fireplace. The house was spotless and the amenities more than satisfied our needs. We strongly recommend this wonderful getaway for a vacation to remember. The owners were truly delightful!”

“Our family vacation at Lake George was very enjoyable and relaxing primarily due to the comforts and easy access to the lake. We were provided with a host of ammenities to make our stay fun. From the central air on the 90 degree days to the large deck to the large grass backyard that gently sloped to the lake this was a very welcoming place to stay. Ample parking for our vehicles too. Entry to the lake was private from eith the long dock our from the 6" deep depth at the shoreline. The lake bottom was a bit mucky and with some plants so pool shoes are suggested. Water depth at the shoreline was 6" and was 4'-5' at the end of the dock. Water temp wad cool. The house came supplied with a vast assortment of water craft and two paddle boards to enjoy. A fire pit provided us the opportunity to sit around and make smores with our family. The grandkids liked this too. From the many games to the laundry machines to the comfortable kitchen we all enjoyed our stay at this fine Lake George home. We had ten minute drive to visit Fort Ticonderoga, Mount Defiance and the large Walmart store. We would consider returning here for another summer vacation.”

“We loved our stay at this beautiful house on Lake George! We have been renting in the Adirondacks every summer for the past 20 years, and this house was by far the cleanest and most well maintained that we have stayed in. This part of the lake is so quiet we rarely even saw a boat go by. That made it an excellent spot for stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking without having to worry about waves from motor boats. The water toys that were provided were a great bonus! There a gradual slope to get in the water, so even the youngest in our crew got to enjoy the lake. We even caught a few fish right off the dock! The kitchen had everything we needed except for a crock pot, and Don said next year we will have one! (Don was very accommodating.) Having central air was a lifesaver, as the week we stayed was super hot. The beds were comfy and all of the furniture was in great condition. The house is close to restaurants and a Walmart, so a very convenient location. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks Don! :)”

“Thanks for your kind words. We try really hard to make sure our guests needs and desires are met fully. Our location is great for families with non-swimmers as well as swimmers and the 7 boats and two paddle boards can be used safely due to the lighter boat traffic at this end of the lake. As good as it is, we are always looking for ways to improve the experience. Your crock pot will be waiting for you next visit. :-) Thanks again for choosing our home. “We have stayed in the adirondacks for the past 18 years and this is now our favorite house! The house is immaculate, with every amenity! Don was so helpful and made our stay so much better!! The location was perfect and the kids loved the all the kayaks, canoes, etc! We had a wonderful vacation and cant wait for our next trip! Thank you! ”
