Cranberry Lake is 15 miles away with several tourist activities, and wonderful day trips to Lake Placid and the 1000 Islands are only about an hour away.

“Camp Watkins did not disappoint! We arrived on Sunday to Star Lake and had a very relaxing week! The camp had everything you would need, we had great weather, saw Loons daily, could swim or paddle to the lakes sand bar, and we kayaked all over the lake, we went on the hikes to the Falls nearby but mostly took in all that Star Lake relaxation was giving us! Thanks Steve for sharing your little peace of heaven with us!”

“Just getting ready to re-book for another stay. Loved, Loved the house, the people, the location and of course the fishing. The owner, Steve, was so accommodating and friendly. The house was well stocked for a comfy stay!!! ”

“First off I have to mention that Star Lake is absolutely gorgeous! It is crystal clear and the sandbar was awesome. The house itself is stocked with pretty much anything you could need. The house is also kept neat and clean. One of the bedrooms has a beautiful view of the lake and you can wake up every morning to the sounds of loons. We had a fire by the lake every evening and our daughter loved feeding the ducks that would wander into the yard. You really can't beat the price either for a lakefront home with a private beach. What a great family vacation!”
