Sunny Side cottage has three bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths looking out onto Fourth Lake. Located in Holiday Shores Estates approximately seven miles east of Old Forge village. Cottage sleeps seven. Master bedroom has queen size bed, second bedroom has one double bed, and the third bedroom has one double and one twin bed. Kitchen is fully equipped with all eating and cooking utensils. There is a dishwasher and microwave, cable TV, electric baseboard heat upstairs, forced hot air heat on first floor. …There is a large deck with outdoor grill and table and chairs. Many amenities on property available to all guests: Free Wifi, shallow sandy beach, sundeck with chairs, tennis court, playing field with children's playground area, bocce ball court, basketball court, horseshoes, volleyball, and boat launch with docking facilities available. Bring your own boat and enjoy the Fulton Chain of Lakes. Come enjoy the great outdoors, swimming, hiking, fishing, golfing, horseback riding, seaplane rides, train rides, and boating. There are many unique gift shops in Old Forge and Inlet to explore. There is a nice shady patio area to relax and read and stay cool. Two nice golf courses near by. Great place for a family vacation.

Summer weekly rate $1,800/wk; Spring and Autumn rates vary. Summer season is done on a weekly bases Saturday to Saturday. Spring and Fall season can be a variable in length of stay. (Minimum of 2 nights)

Winter rental is for the season December 1 through March 31. Rental fee is $6,000.

Linen Policy: Bring your own linens for the beds (sheets & pillow cases). One Queen size bed. Two full size beds and one twin size bed. Bring your own kitchen hand towels, bath towels and beach towels.

Security Deposit Information: Security deposit is required for first time renters. Repeat renters will have the security deposit waived. Security deposit is returned within 10 days after departure assuming no major damage is incurred.

Why we think you will enjoy staying in Fourth Lake: Sunny Side Cottage is located in a home owners association that has many amenities available to all renters. It is a great place for families. Fourth Lake is the largest of the Fulton Chain of Lakes and is great for many water sports (boating, water skiing, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, etc.) Our cottage is close in proximity to snowmobile trail 5 for hiking and snowmobiling.

Why our property is special: We have a very nice waterfront with shallow sandy beach. The swimming areas are roped off for children's safety. There are numerous lounge chairs on our seating decks to catch some sun. There is a boat launch available and boat slips available if you bring or rent a boat.

“Thank you for giving my wife and I an awesome 4 days while we reminisced our times at Fourth Lake many years ago. We stayed next to what was Becker's Lodge. Some things changed and some things didn't. We were hoping that it would be peaceful, clean and up to date, but still like it was as we remembered it years ago and it was. They say you can't go back, but in this situation we did and it was all good. Thank you. We hope to do a return visit again in the near future. ”

“Holiday Shores has been around for many years and previously as the Becker's Hotel site. It is a nice place to not only reminisce but to make new memories and to enjoy the beauty of the area.”

“My son and I stayed here and it was perfect for us! The cottage was clean, with notes on various items such as dinner locations, recycling rules, and a checklist when leaving the cabin. There are rules for the landowner's association but I found none of these to be 'a bit much'. They were very reasonable. Even though our neighbors (who were all very friendly and helpful) said it was quiet there were still plenty of kids for my son to play with. The activities are even more numerous than depicted in the pictures. My son swam in the lake every day, played on the beach and swingset, and I even took in a game of horseshoes! We found plenty to do in the area. Horseback riding is just up the road, a train ride was 15 minutes away, a seaplane ride is within 20 minutes, and Adirondack Museum was about a half hour away. This was an absolute bargain for the time we were there, what it had to offer, and the nearby activities. My son already wants to go back!”
