“We had an awesome time at the Wolf Den. There is so much to see and do. The lodge is absolutely stunning. Would have liked to stay a few more days to explore more and enjoy the comfort of the den itself, but we are definitely hoping to make it an annual visit. “The Wolf Den Lodge located @ Tupper Lake NY is the ultimate Adirondack Mountain location. The lodge itself is impeccable with the tasteful decor to its grand size that accommodates large family gatherings and special memorable occasions.The lodge is complete with every essential item necessary to just pull in bring your tooth brush and enjoy! No need to overpack.The large kitchen area and expansive dining area is complete with Great Lake views. The slate campfire area located lakeside provided enjoyable views and comfort.Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. The lodge is setup where larger groups can separate themselves if needed or provide entertainment in the theater/game room. The close proximity to Saranac Lake, Lake Placid and White Face Mountain will keep you busy with must see destinations.We traveled and stayed at several places before staying at The Wolf Den and this place was the most perfect, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend. Thank you hosts Joycie and Brandon.”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful lake house in the Adirondacks, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. Nestled right on the edge of a serene lake, the property offers breathtaking views and a sense of tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere.
The house itself is spacious, well furnished, and impeccably clean. The living area is cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The fully-equipped kitchen made meal preparation a breeze, and the outdoor deck was an ideal spot for enjoying morning coffee.
The private dock and easy lake access were highlights of the stay. Whether kayaking, fishing, or simply lounging by the water, every moment was a delight. The surrounding nature is just as captivating, with picturesque hiking trails and wildlife encounters adding to the experience.

“A Perfect Getaway at The Wolf Den: My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Wolf Den, and I can confidently say it was one of the most memorable and enjoyable vacations Ive ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views and the serene atmosphere that this beautiful lake house offers.
Location and Scenery: The location of The Wolf Den is simply unbeatable. Nestled footsteps from the shore, the house offers breathtaking panoramic views of the water and surrounding nature. Whether it was early morning sunrises or tranquil evening sunsets, every moment spent on the deck or by the lake was picture-perfect. The peacefulness of the area made it an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Accommodation: The Wolf Den itself is well maintained and thoughtfully designed. The interior is both cozy and spacious, with a charming rustic decor that perfectly complements the natural surroundings. The bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring a restful nights sleep. The kitchen was fully equipped with modern appliances, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy them with a view of the water.
Amenities: One of the highlights of our stay was the array of amenities available at The Wolf Den. We made full use of the private dock, where we spent hours fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The provided kayaks and paddleboards were a fantastic addition, allowing us to explore the lake at our leisure. The outdoor fire pit was another favorite spot, where we gathered in the evenings to roast marshmallows and share stories under the stars.
Host and Hospitality: Our host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From the detailed welcome guide to the thoughtful touches throughout the house, it was clear that a lot of care and attention had been put into making guests feel at home. Our host was always available to answer any questions and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options.
Local Attractions: While The Wolf Den itself was a haven of relaxation, we also took the opportunity to explore the surrounding area. The Town of Tupper Lake is just a short drive away and offers charming shops, delicious restaurants, and interesting sites. We particularly enjoyed visiting The Wild Center and hiking Coney Mountain, which added an extra layer of enjoyment to our trip.
Conclusion: Our stay at The Wolf Den was nothing short of amazing. The combination of stunning natural beauty, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding hospitality made for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this lake house to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway in the Adirondacks. We cant wait to return!”

“My entire family stayed at The Wolf Den the week of the 4th of July. The home had everything we needed and more! I loved the huge kitchen, the owners thought of everything! No need to bring it- they got it. It even had a roll-away cot for our room and extra fan.
The lake front was absolutely beautiful. We had fires at night around the pit, swam and jumped from the floating dock, played lawn games in the yard and caught 2 perch! During the day, we check out Coney Mtn., an easy family hike with 360 degree views, the Wild Center, Little Wolf Beach, River Pigs baseball game with the best fireworks display around, and of course Raquette River brewing.
We had the best stay! Already looking forward to next summer.”

“The Wolfs den delivers pure enjoyment with an unreal ADK experience. This house is incredibly spacious, an able host my large family. The kids enjoyed the floating dock, playing wiffle ball in the yard and sharing meals at the great table! Each room is decorated with that ADK feel, that will make you feel welcomed. The owners made it feel like we were walking right into their home with open arms.We were able to skip over to the beach for a few days, where the water was beautiful.The house was a perfect temperature, as the days crept into the low 80s. My favorite part was the kitchen, this allowed us to cook dinners for a large group, and made clean up super easy. We will 100% be back! Thanks for the TLC you put into this place, we treated it like it was our own!”

“We had a wonderful time at The Wolf Den! The house was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for us to enjoy a meal together at the large dining table. We especially enjoyed kayaking on the lake and sitting outside by the fire. The owner was very responsive and had a lot of great suggestions for things for us to do in the area! We only wish it hadn't rained as much as it did, preventing us from going on a hike, but we didn't mind the extra time relaxing in the house! We highly recommend The Wolf Den for a beautiful lakefront retreat!”

“Amazing place to stay! Myself a few friends had our monthly book club at this house! Very spacious (we all had our own space to stay) I enjoyed sittings on the dock, chilling at the fire pit or in the screened gazebo. The kitchen is stunning with everything you need available to cook with! I highly recommend this house for your next vacation and would absolutely stay at again! ”

“My book club and I had our annual getaway at this awesome property this year. It was comfortable and spacious; we were able to come together and separate as desired with plenty of spaces for both. The clawfoot tub was amazing after a day of exploring town and enjoying the sun. Breakfast in the gazebo and a fire at night bookmarked our days and a fantastic time was had by all. The beds were super comfortable and any kitchen ware we needed were provided in the spacious kitchen. We hope to come back with our families as there were kids games, kitchen dishes for them, and a great outdoor space for playing. ”

“Great stay at the Wolf Den! House is very spacious and clean. The kitchen had just about everything you could ever need utensils, pots & pans, and all the counter appliances, which made cooking at the house very easy for our large family! The beds were extremally comfortable too. Owners were very kind and helpful when reaching out to them during our stay. ”

“If youre looking for a get away that is driving distance, but still feels like youre on vacation, the wolf den is the place to be! My fiance and I live in Western New York, and we decided to come to the Adirondacks for a cozy and relaxing weekend. This house definitely did not disappoint! It has the Adirondack charm, is spacious, and perfect for entertaining. The house has three and a half bathrooms, 4 spaced out bedrooms that can accommodate up to 12 people very comfortably, and the perfect entertaining kitchen. The outside has a beautiful wrap around deck, bonfire pit, on site grilling, and has direct access to the private waterfront with fun water activities right at your fingertips. The online pictures simply do not do this place justice!! The owners were very responsive with anything that came up during our stay. We are looking to book a trip back to the ADK with three other couples in spring or early summer and we will definitely be returning to the WD! ”
