Lakeview home with lake access. This one bedroom plus sleeping loft has 2 bathrooms. Two story porch on the lakeside and one porch on the back side (forest view). There is a fire pit in the main lawn. The shoreline is 300 yards from the cabin which has 3 docks that you have access to.

There are canoes and kayaks for your use included in this rental. The camp is part of the Big Moose Inn property which touts 300 yards for shoreline. Big Moose Lake is 4 miles long and a mile wide at the …widest point. You can fish in the lake and the marina is next door should you wish to rent a boat during your stay.

Within a few mile radius of this camp there are loads of hiking trails in all areas of difficulty level. The cabin is 6 miles from the hamlet of Inlet, NY and 12 miles to Old Forge.

This camp rents for $2,485 a week in the summer time. Week long stays only in July and August. Shorter stays allowed in off seasons.

Meet the Owner(s)

About Us: This house was the lifelong dream of the owners' father. Terry Walsh created a model of what his Adirondack getaway would look like when he was in shop class in the 1960's. That model sits in Overlook today. He constructed the majority of Overlook with his own hands using local materials. He hired an old water witcher to walk the property and point to the place a well would most likely find water. The cabin was finally completed in 1992.

Wether it's sipping your morning coffee on the front porch or enjoying a cracking fire at night under the stars with a view of the lake as a back drop, one can't help but relax at this camp. When building the property, the owner's father positioned the deck- so he could see the mist rise over Big Moose Lake every morning, much like you'll be able to do during your visit with us.
