It has its own family room with a kitchenette/wetbar and two more bedrooms. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other a set of twin beds and one trundle. These rooms share a bath with clawfoot tub and shower.
Originally built in 1901 as an annex cottage for the Loon Lake Hotel, this home retains much of its old Adirondack character while offering modern amenities. You'll love the large fireplaces in the great room and dining room, as well as the clawfoot bath tubs. The kitchen features a large gas oven with a griddle and all the amenites you could need, with a washer and dryer, conveniently located off the kitchen.
Relax indoors with a large TV in the great room with DirecTV and multiple DVDs and books for your enjoyment, or head outside to take in the breathtaking views from one of the two large decks. About Us: We are pleased to be able to share this beautiful home with you. we purchased it in 2022 and love it! We love to hike, bicycle and kayak in the summer and snowshoe and ski in the winter. This is the perfect area for all of these activities. We want your stay to be comfortable and have strived to make the home as comfortable for you as it is for us. Why we think you will enjoy staying in Loon Lake: This area has everything the Adirondacks has to offer! It is a quiet lake with a great history. Google it and see! Saranac Lake and Lake Placid are minutes away and hiking and kayaking and the beauty of the Adirondacks is all around.
Why our property is special: We purchased this historic home in 2022. We love it's connection to the lake and the old hotel that graced it's shore. The home is large but cozy and comfortable. Having rented several homes we found it harder to accomodate our growing family. This is perfect. Large bedrooms, each with it's own bath, two living areas a great kitchen and right on the water! We plan to have a lot of family gatherings here for years to come!
