There is a small beach and a grassy shoreline with sandy lake bottom - small children easily wade into the lake. The large, well-equipped kitchen, two gas grills, 2 refrigerators, and ample seating make it easy to cook for and serve the whole big family in style. … Set right on the water with panoramic views of the lake and islands, the views are private and lovely. There are plenty of boats: 2 canoes, large rowboat, 2 kayaks, and paddle board; 2 boat docks and a floating dock (for diving). The great room is large enough to handle the 'whole crowd' for meals. Any overflow is easily accommodated on the large screened porch. 2 refrigerators, The beds are all real beds (with comfortable mattresses) in actual bedrooms with doors that shut, for your 'good night's sleep' and privacy. The private Silver Lake Shoreowners' nature trails include sections that can be walked by everyone from the very young to the very old. One master bedroom and a walk-in shower on first floor provide ease of access for those who need it. Enjoy a peaceful, family spot in Northwoods paradise. Pets considered. About Us: Bill and Wendy started going to Silver Lake, the small private lake across the street from Cranberry Lake, in the summer of 1993. It was love at first sight! We loved swimming in the clear water, canoeing right from our dock in the morning, teaching our children about boating and fishing, rowboating under the huge stars at night, and listening to the loons. When Pine Bank and Little Ben became available, we were thrilled to be able to become Silver Lake Shoreowners.
Why we think you will enjoy staying in Cranberry Lake: If you love nature and the great outdoors, this is the place for you! Great trails and lakes, No crowds. Excellent hiking, fishing, and boating in very unspoiled country. There are also some nice craft breweries and quirky artisanal shops. The night sky is full of stars.
Why our property is special: Cabin is right on the lake and close to the water. Loons, ducks, eagles, otters and beaver are coming sights. The three private hiking trails abut acres of wild forest. This is the old Adirondacks at it is in legends, not the commercial, built-up area of the park.
