“As first-time guests of Deerswood Lodge, we were immediately taken by the Adirondack feel provided by the craftsmanship and decor of the lodge. Within the first day of our stay, we planned to become repeat offenders and we discussed our next visit. Both our guests and ourselves enjoyed the spaciousness of the lodge and the multiple sitting rooms to relax, chat and enjoy. We also appreciated all of the natural light penetrating the lodge from the abundant windows, especially the mission style windows in the back wall of the dining room. The central location of the lodge provided us easy access to all the hikes and dining experiences we planned for our stay. And we must say, the sauna was a delight after a day filled with a long arduous hike. We have stayed at many cabins, camps and houses via the ADKbyOwner website and have never been as pleasantly surprised.”

“Deerwoods Lodge is a hidden gem in the Inlet area and is the perfect getaway no matter the season. We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. With an open floor plan and two staircases leading to the upper level, even a large family/group will feel comfortable. The kitchen and dining area are well stocked with pretty much all the 'tools' needed to create great meals. The owners have gone out of their way to pay attention to even the smallest detail to make certain guests can relax and enjoy all that he Adirondacks has to offer. We especially enjoy the location as the area is very welcoming to all. ”

“DeerWoods is a beautifully refurbished rerntal property, very comfortable and liveable. There were 10 family members there for a week, plus a small family for two days in a motorhome on the properrty, and it accommadated us very comfortably, particularly because of the very open floor plan and the spacious outside.The owners seem to have thought of everything; the house, the kitchen and the laundry are well stocked with whatever one might need, and the owners themselves are very available, if needed. It is not on the water, but it is very accessible to the Inlet Beach on 4th Lake and to many trails and Adirondack amenities. I am glad to be able to highly recommend this beaufiful property.”

“This house was perfect for our family. Plenty of bedrooms as well as a pullout sofa. Nice big dining table, outdoor fire pit, easy walk into town and easy access to hiking trails and mountains. Perfect for extended family that was looking for a place to be together on vacation.”

“Came up to meet family and stay the week. There were 10 of us and this place was great. Ages ranged from almost 2 yrs to 86 and there was something for everyone. Great location, super clean and the owners are wonderful. A true mountain gem. ”

“A perfect house in a perfect location!!! Im a bit OCD and this was my dream rental. We arrived to a beautiful house that was clean, welcoming and tastefully decorated. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need, and MORE. We were 7 adults and a 3 year old, and had plenty of room, and then some. The fire pit, (wood included!!) was perfect for our nightly campfires. We will definitely be renting again. ”

“We did an extended golf weekend and chose Deerwoods to rent. I'm glad we did! Could practically walk to Inlet GC. The Lodge was plenty big enough to host our outing. Plenty of parking and a large yard. Would definitely rent again. ”

“Always clean warm and inviting. There are lots of trails even though the location is just outside the village.
Outside the circular drive is great for trailers and inside the multiple living areas make it nice when you have a large group in the house.
It doesn't get better than this.”

“Deerwoods Lodge was just the perfect thing for our large family. It allowed friends and family to come and go, stay or not. Large space for large family meals. Bathrooms both up and down. Two extra rooms, one up and one down to split off for some quiet time. The yard was perfect size for our grandchildren to run and play, but be close to see at all times. A wonderful fire pit to enjoy in the evenings. Deerwoods Lodge is centrally located to go anywhere. We beached, went to the playground and on several hikes without driving far for anything. We will be returning next year for sure! Reservation is already made!!”

“WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS RENTAL-EVEN BETTER THAN THE PICTURES--EVERYTHING BRAND NEW AND EXCELLENT QUALITY.
THERE WERE 11 OF US AND IT MET OUR NEEDS VERY WELL. THE OWNERS WERE VERY CORDIAL & CHECKED TO SEE THAT ALL WAS OK DURING OUR STAY. WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE LOOKING TO STAY IN THAT AREA.”

“My husband and I stayed for two nights. and wished we could have stayed longer. The house is spacious and comfortable. We had solo canoes with us and just walked them across the road to 6th Lake. We also walked into Inlet in just 10 minutes. The house is very well appointed with linens, appliances, and storage space. I could see bringing a large group to stay there for a week. The fireplace is beautiful! The decor is classy and rustic. There is one neighbor fairly close, but their roof blends in behind the trees and we didn't notice them at all. We'll definitely stay there again.”

“Everything I could have asked for: comfort, quiet, close access to lakes and trails. It's a classic, old-fashioned Adirondack house but everything in it is brand-spanking-new. Easy to enjoy the peace and quiet, although there is internet access and cable if you need it. The owners have thought of everything to make this a perfect weekend or week-long getaway home.”

“We had a very pleasant vacation with family and friends. Plenty of room for 7people to enjoy music, food, campfire, putting a puzzle together, etc. Great hiking and scenery nearby and short distance to Adirondack museum on a rainy day. Private, clean and homey. Owners were responsive to our needs.”
